Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
This is a plain-language template for a beta, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before you charge anyone, and replace the bracketed placeholders.
This explains what Aurum Studio (run by [Company name]) stores about you, who processes it, and how to have it deleted.
What we store
- Your email address and an account identifier (for sign-in).
- Your projects: topics, niches, scripts, captions and titles, the clips chosen, and the videos, voiceovers and poster images we generate for you.
- Usage records: counts of model calls, speech and render time, used for limits and cost.
- Technical logs (errors, request times) kept briefly to run and fix the service.
We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell your data.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts our database, sign-in and file storage.
- Google (Gemini API) receives the text we send to write scripts, scene plans, captions and ideas, and small preview images of candidate stock clips when we check that a clip matches a scene. During the beta we use Gemini’s free tier. Under Google’s terms for the free tier, what is sent may be used to improve Google’s products, and people may read it. Do not put confidential or personal information into your topics or scripts. We plan to move to a paid tier, which has different data terms, and will update this page when we do.
- Pexels receives the search words we use to find stock footage (no account details).
- Speech is generated and videos are assembled on our own servers, not by a third party.
Support and abuse prevention
The operator of Aurum Studio can view the content generated in your account (your topics, scripts, captions, the clips chosen, and your videos and poster images), your account details and your usage records. We do this to help you when something goes wrong and to prevent abuse of the service, not to browse. Access is limited to the operator, and every time an administrator looks at an account or changes one (its plan, its limits, whether it is paused) it is recorded in an audit log.
How long we keep it
- Free-plan videos are deleted 14 days after they are made.
- Only your latest two versions of a video are kept.
- Projects you delete are removed after 30 days.
- Usage records are kept for billing and abuse prevention.
- After you delete your account we keep a record of your email address and the date, so that your sign-in record can be removed too and we can show that it was.
Your choices and rights
You can download your videos at any time and delete projects from your library. To delete your account and everything attached to it, or to ask for a copy of your data, email [contact email]. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (access, correction, objection); contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Browser storage
We keep your sign-in session and a few preferences (such as one-click or step-by-step mode) in your browser’s local storage. We do not set tracking cookies.
Security
Each account’s data is isolated from other accounts at the database level, files are private, and video links are short-lived. No service is perfectly secure; tell us at [contact email] if you find a problem.
Children and changes
The service is not for people under 16. We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
